Get ready at Model Expo Italy 2022 to become a full-scale train driver! Thanks to the simulators by Gruppo Trainsimhobby, visitors will be able to try their hand at driving a train along some of the best-known, faithfully reconstructed and truly existing railways lines.
The classic Microsoft Train Simulator will be on hand during the Show, as well as the new Open Rails, the continuously updated open source simulator.
The scenarios reproduced are the outcome of careful study and design work and follow the new “Tirrenica Nord” section from Civitavecchia to Livorno, the Triveneto railway section with the Verona-Venice,Venice-Bologna and Bologna-Verona lines.
Visitors will also have the chance to climb aboard the ultra-modern Frecciarossa 1000, for a simulated high speed train driving experience.
The 2022 edition sees the debut of the new Piacenza-Turin railway setting, crossing the territories of Voghera, Alessandria and Turin, as well as the Trofarello-Chieri line.
