At this edition of Model Expo Italy, Compagnia Modellisti Ferroviari Veronesi will work hand in hand with associations from all over Italy to create an exhibition with a great many new features. Visitors will be able to admire the reconstruction of the old Paola-Cosenza line with working locomotives set up by Fremo Calabria, the Calabrian section. There will also be the historical reconstruction of the 1960s Silandro Station on the Mec Silandro section in Alto Adige, as well as contemporary stations and freight terminals by the Corretto Tracciato Alto-Adige and Fremo Emilia Romagna sections.
The characteristic dedication of Compagnia Modellisti Ferroviari Veronesi goes back a long way: it has been the reference point in Verona for railway modelling, and an historic exhibitor at Model Expo Italy, for 25 years. This year, the group will exhibit a special model with a metal bridge comprising 1600 welded pieces, with an intermodal terminal built along the lines of European logistics centres – obviously all in miniature!
Visitors will find all this in Hall 11, where there will be dozens and dozens of metres of fully operational tracks over the two days: everyone will surely be fascinated by such marvellous attention to detail and the precision of the reconstruction, but above all by the passion of Compagnia Modellisti Ferroviari Veronesi.
